Create your bedtime routine

Many people get less sleep then they should. Sleeping is just as important as getting enough exercise and having a healthy diet. Having trouble sleeping can make us feel tired during the day. We are less concentrated and are more likely to have a bad mood. Having a morning routine, to start the day, is normal. So why not have an evening routine to end the day, and sleep better?

An evening routine makes you leave all the impressions of the day behind and prepares your body and mind for the night, which will make you sleep a lot better. Develop your routine and start with it tonight.

πŸ™

Put your phone away and read a book instead.
The National Sleep Foundation recommends that you should stop using electronic devices, like your cellphone, at least 30 minutes before bedtime.

𝟚

Set out your clothes for tomorrow and make a to do list.
Tomorrow is a new day, you don't have to deal with that overnight.

πŸ›

Drink a warm cup of tea without caffeine.
Having caffeine even 6 hours before bedtime can disrupt your rest.

𝟜

Be grateful. Write down where you were thankful for today or write down impressions of the day. This can help with letting go of thoughts.

𝟝

Wash your face or take a warm shower.
This helps your muscles relax.

𝟞

Dim the lights, meditate or listen to calm music.

𝟟

Use your Her Motions® sleep mask to shut off the lights around you.
90% of the people are sleeping worse when they are bothered by light.
